There are many things in the pages of Scripture which are difficult, even impossible, to follow and obey. Indeed, our dependence on God is only made more evident when we try to obey on our own strength. One of the most difficult things to obey, somewhat strangely, is the command of Jesus in the 13th chapter of John's Gospel that we should love one another.
