For nearly a year now, Pastor Erik has been taking us through the Gospel of John. We have learned many things along the way and have encountered Scriptures which paint a picture of who exactly this man from Nazareth is, this miracle worker, this wise teacher. We have also seen the consternation stirred up amongst the Jewish leaders, and the tension has continued to build. That tension will only increase as we enter chapter 14, where Jesus makes a claim that remains today a large stumbling block, keeping many from trusting in Him.
