Day seven, God rested. His creation was complete, and it was very good. But it wouldn't stay that way for long. As we read last week, God's creation fell into corruption and decay; death arrived in the form of the Satan-inspired sin committed by Adam and Eve. Yet even in the midst of grievous sin and the alienation which followed, God's love made a way for reconciliation and redemption, and it's there in the very first pages of the Bible.
