Soon after Pathways was launched, Phil became pastor of Pathways…August of 1993. He is known for his ability to relate the Bible to everyday life in an understandable and sometime humorous way. Mike Gilson
Associate Pastor

Mike joined the staff after attending Pathways with his family for five and a half years. Mike and his wife Doris have three children, Matthew, Peter and Amy. Mike comes to Pathways after 25 years with Youth for Christ. The entire family is involved in a variety of ministries at Pathways.

Roger Hodge
Pathways Counselor

Roger Hodge joined Pathways as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Prior to starting a full-time counseling career, he served in churches around the country as a Pastor of Student Ministries. He works with individuals and couples, marital and relational issues, personal growth, and clinical disorders. He has years of specialized experience working with a variety of adolescent issues. Roger has earned a Psy. D. in Clinical Psychology, an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. in Pastoral Ministries.

Anne Herrington
Women’s Ministry and Small Group Coordinator

In addition to being her husband's #1 cheerleader & supporter, Anne oversees our small groups ministry, launching new groups, and training/coaching leaders. She also coordinates our Women's Ministry which includes Women of the Word, and fun women's events. "I feel that my purpose in life is to know God, make Him known, and help others do the same."

Leslie Ratliff
Children's Ministry Director

Leslie has a passion for children and all aspects of ministry for children. She joined the staff after she and her husband Dave made Pathways their church home. She believes in drawing kids to Christ with the solid message of the Bible in relevant ways for today's kids. Dave and Leslie have two daughters Michelle and Jessica and live in Santee.

Jeff Atkins
Pastor of Outreach

Jeff coordinates Pathways' servant evangelism efforts, the First Impression Team (Ushers & Greeters) along with leading out on our large group events. He also leads a mid-week small group at his home in Lakeside. Jeff and his wife Cindy have 3 children, Chris, Lizzy & Amy.

Aaron Tucker
Worship Leader

Aaron grew up in Orange County before moving to SD to attend Point Loma Nazarene University. There he saw his childhood faith crumble before the sight of God's love, and began a relationship with Him. Every day is a new day for his faith, and he is overjoyed (and challenged!) to humbly discover God's continuing grace and hope with his church family. His work at Pathways primarily involves planning and coordinating worship services, and leading music teams. He married his college sweetheart, Katie, September 19, 2009.

Kathy Morebello
Office Manager

Kathy has been a part of the staff since the planning stages of Pathways began in 1992. She oversees the Pathways office, coordinating our printed materials, facilities rentals, activities organization, office reporting and many other detailed tasks that keep the ship afloat. Kathy, her husband Steve and daughter reside in Santee.

Carol Oftedahl
Financial Secretary

Carol was involved in the planning stages of starting Pathways in 1992 along with her husband Larry. Carol oversees all the church and property finances, record keeping and assists with a multitude of office support duties. She is involved with AWANA as Activity Director/Secretary, as well as Children/Jr.High camp, Scrip and ink cartridge donations. Carol resides in Santee with her granddaughter Lyndsey.
